Central Florida Triangle Metabolism Meeting

The 3rd Annual Central Florida Triangle Metabolism meeting was hosted by the Moffitt Cancer Center this year & co-sponsored by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, the University of Florida and the AdventHealth Translational Research Institute.
Invited speakers at this meeting discussed the regulatory principles of fundamental metabolism which are deeply rooted in all physiologic processes, from malignant cell adaptations to organ-specific energy requirements, daily biological rhythms, and whole-body metabolic homeostasis. This interconnected nature of metabolism has spawned a very robustcross-disciplinary field of biomedical research and this coalition is committed to bringing awareness via engaging presentations and networking opportunities with professionals in the field of metabolism.
